Tradeware Imports commenced business in 1979 as a wholesaler/distributor of tools & hardware and was incorporated in Victoria, Australia in 1986.
We started off business in a disused petrol station, then moved to a small warehouse in Hawthorn, then, needing more space , we settled in to a larger warehouse in Bayswater, which we originally leased through JRD - The Property People who have since merged with Cameron Industrial. Tradeware serviced over 400 retail outlets, mainly throughout the State of Victoria.
Tradeware supplied a wide range of tools and hardware products, including hammers, chisels, wire brushes, trowels, door furniture, welding consumables and accessories, hand drills, drill bits, work gloves, saws, auto accessories, heavy duty battery leads, crimp terminals, paint brushes, "G" clamps, "F" clamps, screwdrivers, pliers, tin snips, spanners, socket sets and accessories, hexagon keys, tape dispensers, packaging tape, masking tape, ducting tape, etc, etc,.
At the end of 2001 we ceased our wholesale sales activities, which were taken over by Exclusive Management Sales P/L.
Soon after, we retired from business activities.
We've maintained our association with Eurotech and W.E.S and, in an advisory capacity, continue to help develop, expand and promote these quality product ranges.
